Dos Blanc "The Dominican Dandelion"

Chaptalia Nutans P.  A plant we locally know as "Dos Blanc'. Referring to the white back of the leaves.  The plant shows off it's Dandelion-puffball-like  blooms atop a long, slender stem, or scape, emerging from a rosette of leaves at the base. This is how we have always identified the plant Dos Blanc "Chaptalia nutans Polak). And the white underneath or the back of the leaves of course. But we call it Dandelion. Sharing the same plant family, the herb grows and looks very much like a real dandelion when it has the puff flower blooming. Lemongrass and Citronella

Is Lemongrass the same as Citronella? Is Citronella another name for Lemon grass ? Lets clarify. Citronella & Lemon grass are cousins in nature. They look similar and grow the same way, and are processed in the same manner for oils too. But, they are two different plants ! In our culture, Citronella is not used for making tea or ingested in any form while Lemon grass is used as an herbal tea drink for symptoms related to respiratory issues, bloating , high fevers , hangovers , anxiety , coughs and colds, and as an expectorant.  The oils from both can be used similarly, though they are not exactly the same.
