Chaptalia Nutans P. A plant we locally know as "Dos Blanc'. Referring to the white back of the leaves. The plant shows off it's Dandelion-puffball-like blooms atop a long, slender stem, or scape, emerging from a rosette of leaves at the base. This is how we have always identified the plant Dos Blanc "Chaptalia nutans Polak). And the white underneath or the back of the leaves of course. But we call it Dandelion.
Sharing the same plant family, the herb grows and looks very much like a real dandelion when it has the puff flower blooming.
